This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading based around the popular Rainforest topic. There are extracts from Running Wild and Fire Girl, Forest Boy, plus a video from Serious Explores in the rainforests of Guyana!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
