Description
Black History Month 2023 is themed around ‘Saluting Our Sisters’ and this comprehension activity uses an extract from the book Young, Gifted and Black to explore the life and achievements of the inspirational nurse Mary Seacole!
There are 16 questions plus an Oracy extension which test a range of KS2 national curriculum reading skills. All answers are provided.
There is a LKS2 version of this comprehension that includes sentence stems to support with differentiation.
