UKS2 – The Hunger Games Planning

This week features an exploration of reading using The Hunger Games as a hook! There is an extract from The Hunger Games book, a look at the trailer for the first movie and an article from The Guardian on protests in Myanmar. The week includes daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains. UKS2 planning also features a CHALLENGE task following each day’s work!
