KS1 – Plastic Pollution Topic WCR
This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading with a focus on the topic of environment and plastic pollution.
The week features two brilliant picture books – Somebody Swallowed Stanley & Captain Green and the Plastic Scene – plus a BBC Bitesize video on what to do with rubbish.
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
