October is Black History Month! To help bring this important month into your classroom, we have produced a full month of resources for each phase.
This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at the incredible stories of Katherine Johnson (using the book Fantastically Great Women Who Worked Wonders) and Harriet Tubman (using the book Fantastically Great Women Who Made History)!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
