KS1 – Castles, Princesses and Knights Topic WCR
This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around the topic of Castles, Princesses and Knights! There are extracts from Bethan Woollvin’s excellent version of Rapunzel and Usborne’s Illustrated Tales of King Arthur, plus a video tour of the incredible Edinburgh Castle!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
