LKS2 – Black History Month: The Voices Series
October is Black History Month! To help bring this important month into your classroom, we have produced a full month of resources for each phase.
This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at extracts from three of the excellent Voices Series books, which tell the story of black and ethnic minority Brits.
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
