UKS2 – Bonfire Night WCR
Children love Bonfire Night, so why would you not bring it into the classroom if you could?!
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at an extract from Wildwitch: Wildfire, a Newsround article on fireworks and a poem by Kevin McCann called Its Bonfire Night!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
There are also daily writing challenges included!
