UKS2 – Destination: Ethiopia
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around the amazing country of Ethiopia!
The week features a look at extracts from two excellent Elizabeth Laird books – The Garbage King and The Fastest Boy in the World – plus a look at the BBC Ethiopia country profile.
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Three writing challenges are also included!
