UKS2 – Environment-themed WCR: Floodland and Blue Planet 2
Build on COP26 and bring the topic of environment into your classroom during whole-class reading!
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at an extract from The Last Wild, some non-fiction courtesy of Guardians of the Planet and a look at an extract from the TV show Climate Change the Facts with Sir David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
