UKS2 – Wild Animal Week: Giraffe
This UKS2 resource features an exploration of 3 extracts with giraffes at their heart – the novels Night Zookeeper: The Giraffes of Whispering Wood and The White Giraffe, plus a clip from Sir David Attenborough’s show Africa featuring two giraffes fighting!
The week includes daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
UKS2 planning also features a CHALLENGE task following each day’s work!
