UKS2 – Deaf Awareness 1
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading with a focus on deaf awareness (19th – 25th September is International Week of Deaf People)
The week features two brilliant novels – Wonderstruck & Max and the Millions – plus a Newsround article on Deaf Awareness Week!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
3 writing challenges are also included!
