UKS2 More Olympics Planning

This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around the Olympics, ready for use as we build up to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games!

There are three days of work featuring extracts from The Wibbly Wobbly Jelly Belly Flop and Outstanding Olympics, plus a BBC Bitesize article on unexpected Olympic sports.

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.

Three writing challenges are also included.
