LKS2 Poetry Week WCR (Female Poets)
This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading featuring fantastic poetry as we celebrate National Poetry Day at the start of October!
The three poems featured are Cat-Rap by Grave Nichols, Ghost in the Garden by Berlie Doherty and Lord Neptune by Judith Nicholls!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of LKS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology and etymology!
