This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around Halloween.

The resource includes extracts from three brilliant spooky stories: Locked Out Lily, The Last Day of October and Lykewise!

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of UKS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.

Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology, etymology, collocation and connotation!
