KS1 – Football and the Qatar World Cup
This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around football which would be perfect to use whilst the 2022 Qatar World Cup is happening in November and December!
The week features a look at the opening of Dirty Bertie and two extracts from the fantastic How to be a Footballer!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
