This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around Halloween.

The resource includes extracts from three brilliant spooky stories: Colin’s Monster, Something in the Darkness and The Tindims of Rubbish Island and the Spooky Secret.

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.

Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology and etymology!
