KS1 – SATs-Style Comprehension: Molly Rogers to the Rescue
This is a KS1 SATs-Style comprehension activity using an extract from the excellent book Molly Rogers to the Rescue by Cornelia Funke and Kasia Matyjaszek.
There are 10 questions testing a range of KS1 reading skills based on the national curriculum reading content domains, and these are laid out in a style similar to what the children will face when completing their end-of-KS1 SATs, which are returning for 2022!
There is also a complete answer set included to support you with marking and assessment!
The task has been designed for completion over 30 minutes, reflecting the length of the extract involved and supporting children to build up their confidence and pace over the course of the year.
