KS1 - Toys Topic WCR

This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around the popular topic of Toys. The week explores the books Dogger and That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown, and also looks at a BBC Bitesize video called A Collection of Mechanical Toys.

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
