LKS2 - Autism Week 1

This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around autism, and is ideal for use alongside Autism Awareness Day at the start of April.

There are three days of work on extracts from the excellent picture book The Boy Who Loved to Lick the Wind, and from the books Lilly and Myles: The Torch and A Boy Called Bat!

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
