This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading with a focus on deaf awareness (19th – 25th September is International Week of Deaf People)
The week features two brilliant novels – Echo Come Home & Harriett Versus the Galaxy, and a Newsround article on Sign Language!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
