LKS2 International Men’s Day WCR: Shakespeare
This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around awesome men, and more specifically the legendarybard William Shakespeare, and is perfect to use as we celebrate International Men’s Day in November!.
The resource includes extracts from three brilliant non-fiction books: William Shakespeare: Scenes from the Life of the World’s Greatest Writer, Shakespeare for Everyone and Michael Rosen’s Pocket Shakespeare!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of LKS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology and etymology!
