This week features three extracts comparing classic and modern adventure stories, with extracts from Captain’s Log: Snowbound, Lost in the Antarctic and Race to the Frozen North! There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
