This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around Halloween.

The resource includes extracts from three brilliant spooky stories: Frank the Monster, A Werewolf Ate My Homework and Knight Sir Louis and the Cauldron of Chaos!

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of LKS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.

Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology and etymology!
