October is Black History Month! To help bring this important month into your classroom, we have produced a full month of resources for each phase.
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at the inspirational Michelle Obama, with extracts from her autobiography Becoming and the book Become a Leader Like Michelle Obama, plus a look at the trailer for the Netflix story of her life!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
