UKS2 – Chinese New Year v1
This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around Chinese New Year which comes at the end of January this year!
The week features a look at three extracts from All About China and China Through Time, plus a YouTube video on The Legend of Nian!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Three writing challenges are also included!
