UKS2 – Favourite Authors: Piers Torday
This week features an exploration of three novels from the awesome author Piers Torday, with extracts from There May Be A Castle (one of my favourite kids books ever), Tree Thing and Midnight Treasure!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology, etymology, collocation and connotation!
