This UKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around lost classics!
There are three days of work featuring extracts from three awesome classic books – The Sword in the Stone, Tarka the Otter and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology, etymology, collocation and connotation!
