LKS2 Refugee Week 1 WCR

This week features three days looking at extracts themed around refugees to use as part of June’s Refugee Week!

There are extracts from three of Elizabeth Laird’s brilliant books – Oranges in No Man’s Land, Welcome to Nowhere and A House Without Walls.

There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of LKS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.

Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology and etymology!
