LKS2 International Men’s Day WCR: Astronauts
This LKS2 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading themed around awesome men and is perfect to use as we celebrate International Men’s Day in November!
The men featured here are astronauts Tim Peake, Neil Armstrong and Chris Hadfield!
The resource includes extracts from two brilliant books: The Cosmic Diary of Our Incredible Universe and The Extraordinary Life of Neil Armstrong, plus a Kids Britannica article on astronaut Chris Hadfield!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of LKS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
Vocabulary work now includes a look at morphology and etymology!
