UKS2 - Refugees Week 1: Boy 87

This week features an exploration of 3 pieces themed around refugees – the picture book My Name is Not Refugee, Benjamin Zephaniah’s poem We Refugees and an extract from Boy 87 – with daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice plus work on a range of KS2 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains. UKS2 planning also features a CHALLENGE task following each day’s work!
