KS1 – Black History Month: Mo Farah
October is Black History Month! To help bring this important month into your classroom, we have produced a full month of resources for each phase.
This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at the inspirational Mo Farah! There are extracts from two of the books he has written – Monster Mountain Chase and Dinosaur Dash – plus an exploration of a Mo Farah in 60 Seconds video clip on YouTube!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
