October is Black History Month! To help bring this important month into your classroom, we have produced a full month of resources for each phase.
This KS1 resource features a week of fully-planned whole-class reading looking at the beautiful book Sulwe, written by Lupita Nyong’o and illustrated by Vashti Harrison!
There is daily vocabulary work and retrieval practice, plus work on a range of KS1 reading comprehension skills based on the National Curriculum reading content domains.
